Why We Started Designing Websites
When companies first started owning company websites, the websites for the most part, were unique. Surfing the internet for shopping, recreation etc... was an engaging experience. Once you checked out one business, you would check another on the search results page and have another unique experience. It was easy to identitfy and remember various companies based merely on the experience encountered within their website.
Recently, with hosting companies offering site-building packages for website owners to use to create their own websites, various company websites that were once unique have become homogenous. At times when paging through the different websites that appear in the search results it almost feels that you are in the same website even though you have selected a completely different result. They all have the similar web "parlor tricks" and what ever is trendy in design at the moment like reflective graphics. Yet what the site builder programs are missing is the diversity and flexiblity of custom designed layouts, images and effects.
We wanted to offer businesses an affordable option that would help the company stand out.
So why is this important?
It's important for a company to stand out from the rest in order to be remembered. If every company that dealt with the automotive industry selected one of the three template offerings of an automated site builder's templates that apply to anything engineering, parts etc... then their site would appear like the hundreds of others within that industry using the same site builders. The only difference would be the graphic header and the general content. The size, layout, and limited color scheme offerings make each of those websites leave the visitors and potential clients with the same impression from company to company.
Our Philosophy:
We believe that the most important aspect of building a web presence is to create a unique experience for the visitors that will help that company stand out and become memorable (company branding). Every website including navigation should invite the visitor to investigate the site further. A website should read like a good novel or interesting article.
